Dick’s - The Gold in US

When the largest sporting goods retailer in the US wanted to sponsor the Olympics for the first time. They needed a striking campaign to cut through the noise. We created a film based on an incredibly simple truth: there’s literally gold in every single one of us.

There is 0.2 milligrams of gold in every human body.

2017 Clio Sports Bronze winner.

The ad celebrates Olympians, with a special nod to those that the brand has employed and equipped on their way to the games. Dick's supports a "Contenders" program that has provided jobs for more than 200 Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.

The cast: real Olympians

Beach volleyball player Kerri Walsh-Jennings, boxer Claressa Shields, fencer Daryl Homer, gymnast Danell Leyva, Paraympic long jumper Lex Gillette and current Dick's employees Laura Ryan, a diver, and Kristin Smith, hammer throw.
