During the busy holiday season, Starbucks wanted to slow the world down and highlight the everyday magic of coffee and connection. Inspired by the handwritten notes baristas write every day, we turned the power of the sharpie into an animated adventure, following two doodles as they get separated and journey their way back together. Built from Geoff McFetridge’s legendary linework, the global campaign came to life across film, social, and OOH.
Individual product films highlighted the seasonal menu —in the most charming way.
Geoff’s style injected humanity into the campaign. In a time when other brands are leaning into AI, we went all in on human connection.
