Every time a Super Bowl ad aired, we gave away a trip inspired by the spot on Twitter. Making every ad an opportunity to travel with Expedia.

How it worked:

When Doritos aired a spot with a bunch of animals dancing in a rainforest.

We gave away a trip to Costa Rica.

We took over the Expedia homepage and live updated during the game.

When Rocket Mortgage featured Barbie in their spot.

We gave away a trip to Malibu.

When SalesaForce put Matthew McConaughey in a hot air balloon.

We gave away a hot air balloon trip in Cappadocia.

And of course a new visual direction accompanied the campaign

This commercial is brilliant on two levels: Its sentiment is spot-on for a nation climbing out of a pandemic that has forced many to rethink their values and reprioritize relationships and experiences. But it also drives home that message with subtle parodies of famed Big Game commercials.”
